• mPregnancy

The book mPregnancy is a book for expecting fathers who live busy lives. The first pregnancy is an overwhelming experience and taking the time to read extensive books at that point simply does not work. This book is written in a minimalistic fashion while still trying to capture the key points that expecting fathers need to know.

  • So this weekend Kim found this iPhone app that looks to be right up my alley, mPregnancy. It’s a pregnancy app for men. I knew it was for me when the first thing I read was “If you and/or your partner were trying to get pregnant, it is likely that you now know about it due to her heavy consumption of home pregnancy tests, as well as much attention paid to the missed period”. It was like it was in our house the past week I also I learned Kim can’t be around cat poop, but it didn’t say anything about dog poop so we are good there. It also has pictures (I like pictures) of how big the baby is compared to objects. Right now it’s smaller than a match head, crazy right! iPhones make everything cooler.

  • I downloaded mPregnancy for my husband after it became clear he couldn’t retain very much of anything that I was telling him about our pregnancy. He’s always been iPhone obsessed so I figured it was worth a shot. His knowledge enlightens me on occasion with details about our baby that I wasn’t aware of. If there were more apps like this the world would be a better place. I enjoy reading about our baby and the information is written with a humorous twist that keeps us interested. We can even chart our due date with a neat built in countdown.
